Pray for Arizona CityFest

There are several ways to be involved in prayer for Arizona CityFest:
1) Sign up for focused prayer alerts every other week -- see the link above.
2) Pray according to the 5 Points of Prayer -- see below.
3) Special prayer walks in preparation for the Festival at the Tempe Town Lake site. We completed the first prayer walk on December 4. The next prayer walks are planned for Saturday, January 29 and Saturday, February 19, 2011. We will meet at the Tempe Beach Park west parking lot at 10:00am sharp. It is possible that changes may need to occur to the schedule if other conflicting events arise, so check back as the prayer walk dates approach.
4) 24/7 prayer -- We are partnering with Lite the Fire ministries beginning on January 1 to hold 90 days of around-the-clock prayer through the Festival (Jan 1 - Mar 31) calling for churches and ministries each to sign up for one 24-hour day, midnight-midnight, during that season. This will result in more than 2,000 hours of non-stop prayer for Arizona CityFest! There is a sign up sheet available on-line at: www.mysignup.com/azcityfest
5) We will set up special Prayer Tents at the Festival on March 19-20. Look for more information on this activity as we get closer to the Festival.
Brief History:
For more than a year, people have been talking and praying together about bringing churches and other groups together to lovingly meet the physical needs of hurting people in our area, and sharing with them the Good News of Christ’s love.
In many different ways those prayers were answered as God confirmed to us that it is His will and His time for us to step out together in faith.
Now we are more aware than ever of the need for continued prayer. This webpage is intended to be a place where you can keep up with the current prayer needs and find prayer resources. Each week you will find new information and resources. Our goal is to have at least 800 people praying every week for Arizona and for the ministry of Arizona CityFest with Luis Palau.

1) Leaders: 1 Timothy 2 - In our Government, Pastors, Ministers, Parents, and in the Business, Education, Media, and Cultural sectors of our society
2) Unity: John 17 - In your church and community, throughout Arizona
3) Service: 1 Peter 4:10 - Prayer for others and community service to increase throughout Arizona
4) Harvest: Mark 4:20 - Personal witness through service and through Arizona CityFest
5) Bless Arizona: Psalm 65:9-13 and according to the Arizona State Seal and Motto, Ditat Deus - "God Enriches"

1) Registrese para avisos de oración de enfoque cada dos semanas -- vea arriba.
2) Ore de acuerdo a los 5 puntos de oración -- indicados abajo.
3) Caminatas Especiales de Oración en preparación para el Festival en el sitio de Tempe Town Lake. Completamos la primera caminata de oración el dia 4 de Diciembre. Las próximas caminatas de oración serán el dia Sabado, 29 de Enero y Sabado 19 de Febrero, 2011. Nos reuniremos en el estacionamiento oeste de Tempe Beach Park a las 10:00am en punto. Es posible que hayan cambios si algunos otros eventos ocurren, por favor verifique de nuevo cuando se aproximen las fechas de las caminatas.
4) Oración 24/7 – Nos estamos uniendo con el ministerio Lite the Fire (Encendiendo el Fuego) dando comienzo el 1 de Enero para mantener 90 dias de oración hasta el festival (Enero 1 – Marzo 31) solicitando que iglesias o ministerios se registren para un dia de oración (24 horas). 5) Habrán tiendas de campaña de Oración en el Festival los dias 19-20 de Marzo. Mantengase informado sobre esta actividad hacia como nos acerquemos al Festival.
Breve Historia:
Por más de un año, gente ha estado hablando y orando juntos acerca de traer a iglesias y otros grupos para que se unan, y con mucho amor atender las necesidades físicas de tanta gente lastimada en nuestra area, y sobre todo, compartirles Las Buenas Nuevas del amor de Cristo.
Hoy más que nunca, estamos conscientes de la necesidad de tener oración continua. El intento de esta pagina web es de poder tener un lugar en donde usted podrá estar al tanto de las necesidades de oración, al igual de encontrar recursos de oración. Cada semana encontrara recursos e información nueva. Nuestra meta es tener por lo menos 800 personas orando cada semana por Arizona y por el ministerio de Arizona CityFest con Luis Palau.
